Thom Melancon, Chief Financial Officer, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and obtained his CPA certification in 1992. He has extensive experience in financial reporting, bond financing and financial turnaround. Under his leadership, St. James Place was able to make dramatically solid financial gains. Thom is a seasoned professional in routine operations and has worked in the healthcare industry for over 15 years. Prior to his employment at St. James Place, which began nearly 8 years ago, Thom served as the General Manager of Accounting at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was also employed by Meadow Wood Hospital as the Chief Financial Officer. He is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
