Gregory Payne
Executive Chief

Gregory Payne, Executive Chef, carries over 25 years of culinary and management experience in the food, beverage and hospitality industry. He has had the opportunity to express his passion for fine dining and creative dishes while serving as Executive Chef at the Sheraton Hotel and Belle of Baton Rouge Casino for four years and Executive Chef at the Country Club of Louisiana for 10 years. He is currently a member of and certified by the American Culinary Federation.

Gregory has served as the Executive Chef at Sullivan's Steakhouse and Chicago's Steak - Bar and Grill restaurants in the Baton Rouge area. He was instrumental in the opening a new restaurant, Shuck's on the Levee, that grossed over a million the first year of opening. Gregory has been featured as guest Chef on local television stations. He received Chef of the Year by Louisiana Restaurant Association in 2000 and numerous awards at the Culinary Classics. Gregory currently holds the Safe Serve Certification.
