Neil previously held positions with the Ascension Parish School Board as a Teacher, Our Lady of the Lake College as Director, AHA Training Center and with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center as Manager, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilation.

Neil holds a Masters Degree in Kinesiology, a B.A. in Psychology, and a B.S. Degree in Education. He is certified as an Excercise Specialist (American College of Sports Medicine), Strength & Conditioning Specialist (National Strength & Conditioning Association), Regional Faculty/CPR Instructor (American Heart Associaion), and ACLS Instructor.
