Mary Ann Rogers Manager of Environmental Services Mary Ann has thirty years of experience in the Janitorial field beginning in 1980 with her own cleaning company, Express Cleaning Services, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She started out doing final cleanup for construction companies and eventually expanded to commercial and residential.
Her education began with a GED and includes an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from Northern Oklahoma College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Sociology from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Adult Education with the emphasis on Human Resource Development also from Oklahoma State University.
While completing her Master's work, Mary Ann was hired by Marriot Healthcare Services where, as she says, "I received the best training available in hospital housekeeping and laundry management." Previous experience also includes Director of Hospitality Services at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital where she designed and implemented a Customer Service program. This program was later initiated into the training program for Marriott Healthcare Services as a part of management training. Mary Ann has managed or been a part of the management team for the Baton Rouge General and Bluebonnet hospitals, Woman's Hospital, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Hospital and Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans. In Texas, she was the District Training Manager for Healthcare Services Group, Inc. and responsible for housekeeping, laundry, food service and plant services for nursing homes in Lake Charles, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
Following Hurricane Katrina, Mary Ann worked with FEMA's Disaster Recovery Centers at Bogalusa, and later Chalmette until the closure of the centers. She also assisted with disaster recovery through the Louisiana Road Home Program.
