As a Life Care Community, St James Place provides a continuum of care to its residents. Life Care is a financial model where almost all long term care services are included in your monthly fee. This offers community members the assurance that their long term care expenses are covered, while, at the same time, preserving their estates depending on the contract option chosen. Included in this continuum is full-service residential living, and in the wings, should more care be needed:
- Assisted Living
- A separate 24-hour state-of-the-art Nursing Care Community offering skilled or long term nursing care in our Health and Wellness building.
- Two Memory Care centers, Highland Court Assisted and Highland Court Nursing
In addition, for an extra charge, supplemental services in Assisted Living are easily secured on a fee-for-service basis through our in-house Silhouette levels of care. Or you can choose an outside source to obtain supplemental health care services.
The Life Care program at St. James Place has several financial benefits as well. Our contract options can be valuable estate preservation tools. You will not need to pay for expensive, often quite limited long-term care insurance, nor face the prospect of considerable per diem fees as you move through the continuum of care. The Life Care benefit provides you with the services typically covered by long-term care insurance contracts.
If you already have long term care insurance, you can save a large percentage on the entrance fee.
The Plus Factor: We don’t subcontract our fundamental healthcare services. We hire the best, then train them to our Residents’ high standards for friendly, thoughtful service.
