Why did I wait so long?
"I allowed myself to fret about moving from my home into St. James Place for several years. Once I made the move I realized it was much more manageable than I thought and I honestly wished I had moved sooner. My life is much less stressful now that I'm at St. James Place."

We were NOT too young!
Some of my friends were amazed when John and I decided to move to St. James Place at age 70. 'You're too young!' they declared. But after we had lived here a few years those same friends changed their opinions. They saw what a great lifestyle we had here, and they understood that we had created a plan for our long term healthcare needs, should they arise. Some of them started looking into St. James Place for themselves, and are new neighbors!"

Still working?
"I'm the kind of person who likes to remain active. Although I've scaled back from the demands of full time work at Women's Hospital where I practiced for many years, I'm now enjoying a part-time practice at Stanocola Medical Center. The lifestyle offered at St. James Place is perfect - it's a huge plus residing here. I love it, and the people are so nice and friendly, and always interesting to talk with."

I'm glad I downsized!
"I lived on ten acres of land in a large five-bedroom home in the country. I had no problem managing the home, but I wanted more opportunities to socialize and exercise. So I moved into a 620 square foot apartment here at St. James Place. I wondered if I could be happy without all of my "things". I quickly learned that I could be - in fact, I actually felt unburdened by having less possessions."
